The Cars
Cars may seem an unlikely display in a fine dining restaurant but then, you have to understand the French love cars – and car racing. Restaurant owner Bernard Tronche began with a car here and a car there he would pick up in France – 1/18 replicas of classics like the humble 1952 Deux Chevaux and 1964 Renault 4L. Tronche collects only French cars manufactured after the war, WWII of course. Customers like to pick them up and examine them. Some have commented they’ve owned one, driven one – or always wanted one. Classic French cars. Always a conversation piece!
The collection includes the following and some others. See if you can match them to the photos.
